Dress like it's the 4th of July

It's that day again; when the drinks are flowing, the sky is filled with fireworks, and people are barbecuing up a storm. With the 4th of July, the Americana style trend is back for more. At once classic and sentimental, it evokes ambition, motivation and force. Whether you were raised in the land of the free or just want to look for your own achievements the style will definitely make you want to get out on the open road and explore this amazing country.

There is no better beginning than with the well known celebrities. Fly the banner happily in a printed vest with some jean cutoffs, or some full length jeans printed with the Staar Spangled banner and an over-sized white-colored or red tank top for informal yet mixed awesome style. Set off with well-worn footwear or an awesome several of techniques based on whether you're enhancing to the activities ground or the bar. There are benefits available for those who really commit to this look by dressing in western footwear.

If you want to reference American culture in slightly less literal ways, look to Prada's Spring/Summer 2012 collection for 1950s glamorous inspiration. The muscle-car print, mimicked elsewhere at ASOS and Primark, is cute and knowingly kitschy, while the leather pieces add a touch of sophistication to the fun. Make like a beauty school dropout with swing skirts in pretty pastels and prints, topped with bandeaus and gingham tie blouses. Add a headscarf and some cat eye sunglasses for a vintage sex appeal that never gets old.

The inspiration doesn't need to stop there. Look for a leather jacket to style with your favourite badges and go for waistline devices to emphasize your types in those perfect outfits. Look for a traditional Birkin style bag to perfect a look that's more Stepford Wives than Desperate Housewives. Contain lady-like printed covers on your wish history so that you can quickly several divides for a pills outfits option to die for. Appropriate for a cross-country journey on the highway!

This isn't a style that you absolutely must wear from fully. In fact, only those feeling especially proud to be an American may be inclined to. You can simply hint at your love for all things American by considering classic motifs such as Eagles, Uncle Sam, San Francisco's bridge and the Statue of Liberty, as well as plenty of others. Clothes and accessories incorporating these images are ever so simple to shop for and will make a subtler stament about your devotion to the States, just incase you're concerned about looks of ridicule. For a Yankee vibe that's even simpler, just think preppiness and minimalism. Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein and Ralph Lauren have been showing the world how it's done for years, and who are we to dispute these American classics?
