All Things Squaw Valley Includes For Travelers

By Jan Abes

When planning a vacation you have to consider when you're going. One of the best times to visit Squaw Valley is during a special event or during a holiday. You're going to find that these are the best times to visit the resort, with all the special events that occur. Ask Blaise Carrig and you'll learn that you won't see some of these things during any other time of the year.

For example, the Parallel Mountain Sports store offers everything that you'll need to survive your winter vacation. Whether you need supplies for the slopes, or if you're looking for the right item to keep you warm indoors.

But they even hosted the Alpine World Cup as well. That means the quality truly is high, and provides a good challenge for the expert skiers, but some good slopes for those looking for a chance to learn how to ski.

There are always special events, and it's something that's definitely worth exploring while you're at the lodge. Just be prepared to plan ahead. That way you can make sure you are able to explore the resort at the best time.

Here you've got a shop that sells just about anything you could want to keep you and the kids entertained. Including books, board games, and all manner of other fun brain teasers to keep you enthralled.

If you're all about the shopping, they've got you covered. You're going to find tons of stores to shop at, clothing to buy, but also cool spa stores to find the perfect items for relaxation back in the hotel room.

Plus you have to explore the beauty of the area recently redone by Andy Wirth - SnoNews as well. It's important to really visit your surroundings when you're on vacation and enjoy the beauty of nature. In Lake Tahoe, that beauty is everywhere.

So even if you're not really into skiing, they do have something to offer everybody. It's just a matter of finding the right type of shopping, or restaurant to keep you having fun while you're full of gourmet food.
