Making a high school scrapbook is a lot like working on a project or assignment that you had lots of in your college years. The difference here is that you're not getting marked on it and with luck this one is lots more fun!
Speaking of assignments... This brings me to my first bit of advice. You can re-use your old school projects in your school scrapbook. They are one of the best things to add into there. They are a great comparison of how you used to be in school.
Were you a fusspot, trying hard to get the highest grade possible or did you only just do sufficient to get you over the line? Either way, its a great way to show how you were at that stage to how you worked out now.!
Moving along to the following bit of info: borders, borders and more borders! No, I'm not talking about the chain of book stores, We're talking about page borders. There are a lot different things you might want to use as a border. Try making your borders look like the side of a ruler, marking out inches or centimetres.
Or you could put your art talents to good use and reproduce a border from some of your old school art work. For a blast from past times, you can put a page border of the alphabet around the outside, with both the capital and lower case letters, just like those posters in elementary school.
When thinking over how your book should appear, I love to divide them up into subjects "chemistry, mathematics, english, history and etc. I've heard of other people dividing them up into year levels, so if that works better for you - go for it! These approaches will give you a lot of flexibleness and the option to be particularly creative with your decorations!
So if you use just a few of these ideas, you can turn your C grade school scrapbook into an A+!
