Envirotex has become a popular and affordable polymer compound that produces a high gloss finish that is durable and resilient. For the curing process to take place it needs to be dried at a temperature of 70 degrees and an 8 hour period for the establishment of the gloss. The use of Envirotex is becoming increasingly popular and can be purchased in a 16 ounce or 32 ounce product for all resurfacing requirements. It is considered a valuable and affordable solution in comparison to having to hire a contractor to achieve the same results. It requires a 48 hour period to cure completely and develop a tough exterior that will not have to be polished as it delivers a naturally shiny exterior.

This product range can be applied to wood, fabric, paper, painted areas, flowers, rocks, dough, and styrofoam among others. In most instances of performing a resurface, you may only have to apply a single coat, but if more layers are required, simply wipe clean with a cloth and alcohol before reapplication. This waterproof solution can preserve and enhance the appeal of surface areas, furniture, and objects.

The solution should be prepared with a mixture of resin and hardener in a flat walled and bottomed container. All of the content must be mixed in well and scraped from the sides and bottom. If you fail to adhere to the mixing methods it will result in a weak and soft texture that is difficult to spread.

Different safety instructions must be considered and rubber gloves worn with goggle to prevent exposure to toxins. Should a surface area be coated in polyurethane or similar substances, it needs to be sanded and then cleaned with rubbing alcohol. If the surfaces are coated in wax and dirt it will affect the end result and prevent against an even spread.

All resin and hardener mixtures must be accurately measured. Once you have thoroughly mixed the content, do not wait and spread over the surface using a stiff paper for a smooth result. Any formation of bubbles can be removed by exhaling on it or using a propane torch with caution.

A room temperature of between 70 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit will assist in curing the product in an efficient manner. A rise in the temperature and control of dust and debris will contribute to a smoother surface. Tools and protective gear must be worn to ensure that the smoothest outcomes are achieved in the shortest period of time.
