Men Hair Styles And Short Hair Styles For Men

By Darren Hartley

In maintaining men hair styles, a fellow usually uses a comb. In the absence of a comb, he can use his fingers instead. Using a fine-toothed comb results to a more sleek and structured hairstyle. Finger combing, on the other hand, comes out with a wavier, natural look.

When it comes to structured men hair styles, it is normally only the top portion of the hair that requires special attention. This is of course on the assumption that the hair is not on the long side of medium-length hair at the very least. Because modern haircuts leave the back and sides of the head short, no styling on these parts of the head is required on a daily basis.

There is an optional step in maintaining men hair styles that fellows may or may not take. This is the parting of the hair. Sporting short hair makes this step irrelevant. Donning medium length hair may or may not require this step but wearing the hair long could probably use this step more often than not. As to the placement of the part, it is always best to consider the shape of the face. Round faces will look even rounder with a part placed on the middle.

Hairspray is the one product that can be done without in the setting of short hair styles for men. As they go around doing their day to day activities, men often take time to check if their hair is drooping or if its hair structure is still intact. Misting the hair with hairspray gives them the assurance that their hair will maintain its style at least for the duration of the day.

Trimming the sideburns is part and parcel of the maintenance of short hair styles for men. Classic sideburns, worn to the middle point of the ear, are still the best bet for perfectly styled short hair. If the face needs a little narrowing, wearing longer sideburns will do the trick. On the other side of the coin, a face that can do well with some widening, shorter sideburns will work just fine.

Short hair styles for men are imperative for men with receding hairlines. Bold, adventurous men could go all the way and shave everything off. To put some accent to the face, growing a beard or a goatee can be the alternative to take.
