-Before your camping trip, it is always recommended to research and know what kind of weather is expected on the date of your camping trip. This way you will be able to discern what type of clothes to bring and the style of shelter or tent to build. Also, knowing what kind of weather is expected on the date of your trip will help you know whether there are any possible storms coming in the area and you can cancel you trip as early as possible.

-Plan on what food and beverages you will need to bring on your camping trip. Also make sure to bring sufficient supply of food or at least bring more than enough food for you and your companions.

-Be sure to plan the activities that you are going to engage in once you are on your camping trip. doing this will make you manage your time properly and prepare the necessary materials needed for the activities you wanted to do.

-Be sure to bring clothes for warm and cold weather. Though you have checked the expected weather for that dates, there is still a big possibility that the predicted weather is not accurate so it's better that you are prepared whatever weather will be.

-Don't forget to bring your medicine and first aid kits. Untoward accidents may happen on the way or during your trip, bringing this necessity will give you the advantage of providing basic first aid application if ever something will happen to you or any of your friends.
