Before the challenge spreads to a large area, you could pull that plant and carefully dispose it. This is one way to ensure that it does not get a chance to grow its vines and spread. You can easily pull the plant because it does not go deep into the ground. The simple exercise can be done by use of hands, but if you have back problems, you could use a stand-up weeder.

There are complex methods to get rid of this kind of a problem especially if it spreads all over the lawn. There are more natural ways that you could implement to get rid of the plant. All you have to do is cover the entire area with a polythene bag. This process requires you to be patient for two or three weeks as the heat beneath the polythene kills the weed.
