How The Practice Of Weddings And The Wedding Performance Began

By Edward Burns

Over the course of human history, there has been many aspects that has been developed as the years went on. Many ideas and concepts have come and gone. Lots of them have stuck and are still practiced today. There is one part of humanity that has been evolving and still changing since the dawn of man began.

So, with man graced by the smarts that is given to them, humanity evolved into something that would become the most unique species in the planet. This was evident when humans started to grow rapidly in learning power, creating concepts that would last a life time. One of the result of this concept was the Wedding Performance Westchester County NY.

This was the concept of culture. As it is stated above, this practice has been around for since the society of man had begun. Culture is described to be a set of rules or norms that everybody in a community is required to follow. This have been changing as society as moved forward and changed a lot throughout the years.

There are many countries that are quite proud of what culture it has. In particular, the Greeks, ancient Greece to be exact, were quite proud of what kind of culture they had. So many countries are built upon the kinds of cultures that are born from their countries and actions. Thank to this, many of laws today came from it.

The idea of getting bound to each other for life came from the cultural growth of society as well. The concept of marriage was coming up with due to males not wanting to share the privilege of having a woman to themselves. There are many examples of this found in animals and the wild that are inhabited by them.

Human beings are also bound to this rule of nature. In the past, the males that were dominant and strong were the ones that could have the privilege of mating with women. This is another part of biology as one that has stronger genes are seen as more attractive than those that does not have the desirable traits.

But as humans grew, they got attached to the idea of having partners that would not leave and stay until death. Thus, the concept of marriage was introduced to the world. When a male and female are married, this means that they are exclusive for each other. Meaning that no another male or female had the right to mate with a married couple according to law.

This was mostly the same for the early 20th century in the united states. Many rich families would hold parties to announce that their daughters is available for suitors to come and offer their hand. The purpose of these parties was to get some viable suitors that had some status and wealth to them to add to the family status.

But during the ancient, medieval, and early modern era, most women got married for an entirely different reason altogether this was the fact that most needed a husband so that they could have a living or some sort of support. Most unmarried women were supported by their families if a suitable person is not found or fit for marriage.
