Types Of Dolphin Tours Seagrove You Can Take

By Eric Evans

The Seagrove, FL area is chock full of fun thing to do for just about any interest or hobby you may have. Though there are plenty of indoor activities to be found, the city's close proximity to the sea means you will have lots of water activities to choose from as well. This includes Dolphin Tours Seagrove that are fun and easy to book.

There are lots of choices of excursions when it comes to this type of tour. Some boats take individuals in case you don't have anyone else to go with. You'll meet lots of other people, so you won't be alone. For families, try a family tour, which you may be able to get at a discounted group rate, depending on how many people are there. There are even private tours where your group or family are the only ones on board, allowing for privacy.

Another choice you will have to make is whether you want a cruise that takes off during the day or at night. The daytime ones will leave either early in the morning or sometime midday or afternoon. They generally will last around two to four hours, which is plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful blue water.

Evening tours may also last from two to four hours, depending on how late in the day they take off. Most of these are timed to coincide with the sunset, so you get to enjoy the sun setting over the water, which creates a colorful glow that looks like something out of a postcard. Some people take these with their partner for a romantic time, while others just go as a group to enjoy the scenery and dolphins.

You can opt to have a tour where you wear regular clothes and stay on the boat. Of course, if you are more adventurous, you can don a bathing suit and go on a snorkeling tour to interact with the dolphins right there in the water. You will get a great chance to see other water wildlife as well while you swim with your group.

Snorkels are generally provided to you by the touring company, and they will be cleaned and fully sanitized for your protection. However, if you have your own, you may bring them with you, along with a towel, sunglasses and sunscreen to protect your skin and eyes from sunrays.

You may get refreshments on the boat, which usually consists of drinks to stay hydrated in the hot Florida sun. Bottled water and juices may be available. If this is an adult cruise, then alcoholic beverages may be served.

Of course, you are free to bring your own refreshments if you like. Some people even bring snacks just to make sure they don't get hungry on board. Other things you may want to bring is a camera so that you can take still pictures or videos of this fantastic experience. If you are snorkeling, bring a special underwater camera to ensure you snap a picture of the dolphins beneath the surface to show off to family and friends.
