Get Your Festive Season Started With Help From The Top Wisconsin Christmas Tree Farms

By Essie Osborn

In the American State of Wisconsin, first ever farm for growing Christmas trees opened. The farm is situated on an area of about 10 acres and before the festive season, you can buy live coniferous trees of any kind and size there. Sales happen only in December, but the work on the planting and cultivation of the plants is done at Wisconsin Christmas tree farms during the other eleven months of the year.

Why not bet on a real, live plant, which after the holidays you will be able to plant in the yard of the Villa, in front of the block or in the Park? In this way, not only will you not harm nature, but will help plant a tree. This way, the holiday will be more special and everyone will be happy.

Year after year, more and more people put these festive trees in their homes, and they have become a constant companion to the holidays. Today, you can not imagine this holiday without a traditional plant, with all the lights and trimmings. For years, people have been using fir-trees, felled pine or spruce.

The natural habitats of these plants are mountain areas with an altitude of 1200 -1400 m. It is sensitive to urban air pollution and summer droughts, hence you need to plant your trees in a park, or in nature. But on the farm, the experts try to make conditions for the growth of the plant that are near the natural maximum.

Contrary to those who believe that the use of artificial trees helps to save the forests and agricultural lands, some manufacturers claim that their farm is located most commonly on land that will not hold food crops and at least three seedlings are planted for each one that is harvested. It is entirely possible to buy one, planted in a pot, whose roots are intact and subsequently, you can try to replant it, or simply let it grow in the pot for the next year, but at the appropriate place. The inside of your home is not conducive to the constant growing of the plant.

For the end of year holidays, you all want to decorate your own Christmas tree. When you buy a live one, you will give its contribution to the preservation of nature. But to survive the holidays, you need to carefully choose it and care for it well.

Another problem that you have to solve is the acclimatisation. The removal of the trees from the hot room directly on the cold is quite risky. Well, before you take it out, first leave it in a cool room, don't forget to water it, but if you do not have a suitable place-take it out on the indoor space in the yard on a warmer day or when the snowfall slows.

Living trees that are sold around the holidays, are growing in the ground and shortly before being put on sale are transplanted in a pot. The root system of these trees, however, is broader than the crown, and therefore usually truncates to fit in the narrow pot. Don't buy large trees in small pots- they will hardly survive until spring. In addition, keep in mind that the smaller the plant, the easier it will adapt to the change to survive the whole length of the holidays and stay with its original good looks and live for a long time after the holidays.
