Green Screen Rentals

By Trevor Weir

Green screen rentals are quickly gaining popularity in the country. This is due to the fact that companies providing these services offer quality videos to their clients, a fact that is appealing to individuals in the film industry such as Hollywood movie directors. Proof is clearly seen in the good quality of videos that are recently being launched from Hollywood.

Most filmmakers face a mega problem of enough space when filming. This is very challenging, especially when one wants to shoot various angles so as to make the video more appealing. It is for this reason that green screen rentals have gained popularity as they have contacts with various stages hence offering plenty of space to filmmakers. This space allows for high speed motion filming and complex movement when making films.

In a location such as Hollywood, the most valued investment is the type of filming gear one uses in order to satisfy their clients' needs. This is the reason why green screen rentals or "chroma key" rentals demand has been on the rise recently. With green screen rentals, the problem most filmmakers experience with bad lighting is eliminated by use of screens that are very bright and allow maximum spread of light around the stage during filming.

Using green screen technology and incorporating it to your films can be very expensive. It is for this reason that green screen rentals have gained popularity as they tend to be cheaper. With a high rise in the number of establishments offering green screen rental services, competitive and affordable rates have been set by these companies.

Most shootings carried out on green screen rental companies are usually charged per hour for around $200. Other green screen rental studios offer full day shooting services that last up to 8 hours for a fee of approximately $800. If you do the math, you find that booking a full day at a green screen rental studio is actually cheaper than doing the per hour rental.
